Just when you thought Tropical Hut couldn’t get any cooler, the local burger joint will soon be opening its first branch in Bonifacio Global City!
Food blogger Salie Dimayuga (@unshakablefoodie) posted on her Facebook page some snapshots of the soon-to-open branch, which is located on the corner of 4th Avenue and 31st Street. To date, the nearest Tropical Hut branches that can deliver around BGC are located in Taguig FTI or from Shaw Boulevard.
Soon, BGC residents and workers will be able to enjoy the old-school fast food chain’s wide array of affordable yet tasty specialties like cheeseburgers, cheese dogs, dinuguan, daing na bangus, spring chicken, and clubhouse sandwich.
Even as a commercial/business district known for the hippest restaurants, café, and eateries, its a good feeling that an oldie-but-a-goodie restaurant will be bringing its signature flavors to the area. As many netizens would remember, it was only last year when a single tweet made a humbling reference to the beloved retro burger joint. It echoed the sentiments of many Filipinos who have grown up with the brand, which consequently reinvigorated its branches thru dine-ins and deliveries. It goes to show just how a tweet can greatly affect a brand and its business.
