Tinapa Kangkong Lumpia

Time needed: 30 minutes.

Makes: 12 pieces

2 cups kangkong, minced
5 pieces Tinapa, shredded
½ cup carrots, minced
½ piece singkamas, minced
½ kilo shrimp, chopped
2 pieces garlic cloves, minced
2 pieces small red onions
½ teaspoon salt
½ teaspoon pepper
2 pieces eggs
1 pack lumpia wrapper


  1. Prepare tinapa

    Carefully shred the tinapa, set aside.

  2. Saute filling

    Sautee the shrimp, shredded tinapa, carrots, singkamas, tinapa, hipon, and kangkong. Cook well, let it cool and set aside. 

  3. Add eggs

    Mix the eggs in the tinapa mixture. 

  4. Fill lumpia

    Place bout 1-2 tablespoons of filling into the bottom center of each lumpia wrapper. 

  5. Wrap and roll lumpia

     Form filling to a cylinder and roll up the lumpia tightly. Seal the edges with egg yolk mixture.

  6. Fry

    In a deep pan over medium heat, heat up the oil and deep fry the lumpia until golden and crispy. Drain excess oil and serve.
