Spread the love

If you’re the kind of traveler who looks forward to the food almost as much as the destination, Singapore Airlines (SIA) has something new coming to the table.

The airline is giving its in-flight dining experience a major refresh, introducing more than 100 new and refreshed appetizers, main courses, and desserts across all cabin classes.

Under its new SIA Chefs’ Selection category, the menus bring together comforting favorites, regional dishes, reimagined classics, and brand-new creations developed by SIA’s in-house and guest chefs in collaboration with its catering partners.

But it’s not just about what’s on the plate.

SIA is also introducing new wine labels in Suites, First Class, and Business Class, along with new spirit options across all cabin classes. So yes, you’ll have more drinks to choose from when you’re deciding what to pair with your meal!

Dining in Style, Above The Clouds

For passengers in Suites, First Class, and Business Class, meals will also be served on new custom-designed service ware created with French luxury tableware brand Christofle. The pieces feature a subtle take on SIA’s signature batik motif, bringing a little more polish to the in-flight dining setup.

Beef Short Rib Sambal Percik with Nasi Kerabu (Suites and First Class Main Course) draws on the rich culinary heritage of the Nusantara. Tender braised beef short rib is glazed with sambal percik, a coconut-based sauce infused with lemongrass, galangal (blue ginger), and chilli. It is served with nasi kerabu, a herb-infused rice naturally coloured with butterfly pea flower, and a vegetable salad, finished with toasted coconut and lime as served in Singapore Airlines .

For selected dishes in Suites and First Class, expect some extra presentation touches. Cabin crew may also offer beverage recommendations to complement specific meals.

An Elevated Dining Experience with Singapore Airlines

Mr. Yeoh Phee Teik, Senior Vice President Customer Experience of SIA, explained: “[At Singapore Airlines,] in-flight dining is about much more than the meal itself. Guided by customer feedback, evolving preferences, and emerging dining trends, we have reviewed every aspect of the experience–from menu design, seasonal ingredients, and cooking techniques to beverage selection, presentation, and cabin crew service. The result is a combination of thoughtfully crafted dishes, carefully curated beverages, elegant serviceware, and thoughtful touches that make dining on board more memorable for our customers.”

Poached Maine Lobster with Champagne Sauce (Suites and First Class Main Course) features slow-poached Maine lobster shell-on with buttery Savoy cabbage, grilled baby leeks, roasted sweet potatoes, borage cress, and a Champagne cream sauce.

Singapore Style Prawn Noodle Soup (Business Class Main Course) is a Singaporean favourite featuring yellow noodles and vermicelli in a rich, slow-simmered prawn and pork broth. It is served with succulent prawns, tender pork ribs, kang kong, and bean sprouts for a comforting balance of umami and freshness in Singapore Airlines.

The new dishes are already being introduced progressively, while the remaining dining enhancements, including the new beverages, service ware, and onboard service touches, will roll out from November 2026.

The refreshed dining experience is part of SIA’s larger investment in the overall travel experience, which also includes new cabin products, updated KrisWorld in-flight entertainment, amenities, high-speed connectivity, and on-ground services.

So if you have a Singapore Airlines flight coming up, there may be something new waiting for you when that meal tray arrives.
