An Ilocano stew made from pork neck, pork liver and a local seaweed called Gamet!


In a pot, place the pork then add about ⅓ cup of water. Boil then simmer until the fat is rendered.

Fry the pork.

Add the garlic, red onion, and ginger. Saute for 3 mins.

Add the pork cube then pour the water. Boil for 5 min then simmer for 30-40 mins.

Drop the pork liver in the pot and cook for 5 mins.

Add the gamet, spring onion and patis. Adjust taste with salt and pepper

Transfer to a boil then top with chicharon
