Pork Sinigang sa Kamatis

A comforting soup dish made sour and fruity with tomato!

 1 tbsp vegetable oil
 ½ kg pork bellycut into pieces
 1 pc white onionchopped into four
 6 pcs medium ripe tomatoeschopped into four
 1 pc siling pang sigang
 1 tbsp patis (optional)
 5 cups water
 ½ cup sliced labanos
 ½ cup sliced okra
 ½ cup sliced sitaw
 1 pack MAGGI MAGIC SINIGANG® Original Sampalok Mix (22g)
 1 cup picked leaves and tender stems of kangkong

Sauté pork in oil until golden brown. Add onion, tomato, siling pang sigang and patis and continue to cook until tomatoes are very soft.

Pour water and simmer until pork is tender. Mash tomatoes to thicken the soup.

Add labanos, okra, and sitaw with 2-minute intervals. Pour MAGGI MAGIC SINIGANG® Original Sampalok Mix.

Stir in kangkong. Transfer into a serving bowl and serve immediately.
