Mini Pandesal Burgers

Pork Mix
 280 g ground pork
 1 pandesalgrated into bread crumbs
 1 tbsp garlicsmashed
 1 tbsp red onionschopped finely
 1 medium whole egg
 salt and pepperto taste
Sliders
 140 g ground pork mix(1 prepared bowl)
 oil for frying
 2 large pandesal
 2 cheese slices
 1 romaine lettucehand-teared
 1 tomatosliced into discs
Pork Mix

Hand mix everything in a bowl until all ingredients are well incorporated.
Take half of the mixture and place it in another bowl.

Form patties

Take about 1/3 portion of the ground pork mix, roll it into a ball using your hands and flatten into patties. Repeat the process until you’ve formed all the patties.

Fry

Fry patties in a heated and oiled pan on medium heat. Make sure to flatten the patties with the slotted turner while frying to help retain the form. Fry each side for about 5 – 7 minutes.

Assemble

Once done, build your pandesal sliders: start with your bottom half of the pandesal, cheese lettuce, tomato slices, cheese slice, and the top part of the pandesal. Heat in the oven or microwave for about 1 minute or until cheese melts before serving.
