Malunggay Chips

Crispy and tasty snack made with Malunggay!

 2 cups Malunggay leaveswashed and pat-dried
 ½ cup all-purpose flour
 cooking oilfor frying
 cheese powder or barbecue powder
Batter
 1 egg
 1 cup cornstarch
 ½ cup cold water
 1 tsp salt
 1 tsp ground black pepper
 1 tbsp garlic powder
 1 tsp curry powder

Coat the malunggay with flour then set aside.

Combine all the batter ingredients in a bowl until well incorporated. Chill for 20-30 mins.

Add the malunggay leaves to the batter. Mix will to fully coat the malunggay.

In a pan with hot oil, add about 1-2 tbsp of the malunggay batter

Fry for 2-3 mins or until golden brown.

Season with cheese or barbecue powder.

Serve with your favorite dipping sauce
