Loaded Potato Kamote Soup

Creamy, rich and filling potato and sweet potato soup!

Fill the pot with water and boil the kamote and potato until soft. Set aside.

Heat butter in a pan. Saute onion until translucent and fragrant.

Add the flour and mix. Let it brown a little.

Pour the milk gradually, stirring to avoid clumps. Bring to a boil.

Add the cream cheese and the grated cheese.

Add the potato and kamote. Mix well until melted then reduce heat to simmer for about 5 minutes.

Mix in the sour cream, salt, and pepper.

Serve hot.
