Corn dog made extra crispy with potatoes!

Hotcake Batter
 1 pc egg
  cup white sugar
 2 tbsp margarinemelted
  cup milk
 1 cup all-purpose flour
 2 tsp baking powder
 ½ tsp salt
 1 tsp yellow food coloring
Assembly
 6 pcs cocktail hotdogs
 2 cups potatoesgrated and chilled
 oilfor frying

In a bowl, mix together egg, sugar, margarine, and milk until well combined.

Add flour, baking powder and salt then stir. Mix in yellow food coloring, stir into a thick batter and transfer to a tall glass.

Skewer hot dogs onto sticks and pat dry. Dip in the batter and roll into grated potatoes.

Deep fry in oil at medium heat for a few minutes, until golden brown.

Serve hot and crispy with ketchup or mustard!
