Ground Beef Salad with Miso Dressing

A ground beef salad packed with protein and flavor!

Ground Beef
 1 tbsp canola oil
 5 garlic cloves
 1 tbsp grated ginger
 1 pc siling labuyo
 300 g ground lean beef
 2 tbsp soy sauce
 1 tbsp oyster sauce
 saltto taste
 ground black pepperto taste
Miso Dressing
 ½ cup miso
 2 tbsp soy sauce
 ½ tbsp grated ginger
 ½ tbsp minced garlic
 ¼ cup water
 1 tbsp honey
 ¼ cup calamansi
 1 tsp sesame oil
 saltto taste
 ground black pepperto taste
Salad Vegetable
 4 romaine lettuce leaveschopped
 1 large cucumberchopped
 1 carrot julienned
 1 cabbage blanched and chopped

In a pan, sauté the garlic, red onion, ginger and siling labuyo in canola oil.

Add the ground beef then stir and cook for ten minutes

Pour in the soy sauce and oyster sauce then stir. Cook for another five minutes then season with salt and pepper. When the beef is done set it aside to cool a bit.

Miso Dressing

In bowl, combine all the ingredients then mix until incorporated. Adjust taste with salt and pepper then set aside.

Assembly

Add the cucumber, cabbage, carrots in a bowl then drizzle with about three tablespoons of of miso dressing. When the beef is done set it aside to cool a bit.

Layer the romaine lettuce then topped with the salad vegetables and ground beef.

Transfer to a serving plate then serve with extra miso dressing
