Fried Buns Ice Cream Sandwich

An easy to make fluffy fried bun great for ice cream sandwiches!

 ½ cup warm water
 1 tbsp instant or active dry yeast
 1 tsp granulated sugar
 2 cups warm water
 ½ cup melted unsalted butter
  cup granulated sugar
 1 tbsp salt
 6 -7 cups all purpose flour
 Mango or Ube Ice cream
Sugar glaze
 ½ cup powdered sugar
 2 tbsp water

In a bowl mix all purpose flour, yeast, granulated sugar, warm water melted butter and salt. Mix until well combined

Knead until smooth put it in the bowl with oil and rest it for 1 hour.

Degas the dough and divide it into 15 pcs and round and rest it again for 1 hour.

Fry the dough in the medium heat oil, until golden brown.

Dip the dough in the sugar glaze. Slice the fried dough in half then add the ice cream.

Combine the powdered sugar and water until the sugar melts. set aside
