Season meat

Pat chicken and pork dry with paper towels and season with salt and pepper, set aside.

Sauté

In a pan over medium heat, sauté garlic until aromatic. Add the seasoned chicken and pork pieces and sear lightly. Add water.

Let simmer

Add the bay leaves, black peppercorns, soy sauce, and vinegar. simmer until tender and cooked all the way.

Serve

Take out from heat and serve.
