Chocolate Durian Polvoron

Polvoron with chocolate and durian!

 1 cup dried duriansliced, divided into 2
 4 cups all purpose flour
 2 cups powdered milk
 ¾ cup pinipigcrushed
 1 ⅛ cups buttersoftened
 1 ½ cups granulated sugar
 1 cup dark chocolate

Heat a frying pan or a wok then put in the flour. Toast the flour until it gives a nice aroma and the color turns light brown. Once the flour is toasted, let it cool for a while.

Add the powdered milk, half of the sliced dried durian, pinipig, and granulated sugar. Pour in the softened butter and mix well. Stir until well distributed.

Using a molder, scoop the mixture and let it chill in the chiller for 20 minutes.

Melt the dark chocolate in a bowl suspended over simmering water, stirring occasionally.

Drizzle of the ganache in the polvoron. Sprinkle it with dried durian. Make sure the chocolate dries at room temperature.

Put the durian polvoron on top of a pre-cut Japanese paper or cellophane then wrap.
