Chicken Afritada Rice

 2 cans Argentina Corned Chicken
 3 tbsp vegetable oil
 1 potatochopped
 1 carrotchopped
 4 garlic clovesminced
 1 small onionchopped
 1 small red bell pepperchopped
 1 small green bell pepperchopped
 1 bay leaf
 1 cup rice
 ½ cup tomato paste
 1 ¼ cups water
 ¼ tsp freshly ground pepper
 1 tbsp brown sugar
 saltto taste
 ground black pepperto taste
Fry

In a pot/rice cooker, fry the potatoes and carrots in oil for a few minutes until a crust forms.

Sauté

Add garlic, onion, bell peppers, and bay leaf. Sauté for a few more minutes.

Toast

Add tomato paste and toast for a few minutes. add ARGENTINA Corned Chicken to the pot and cook for a few minutes.

Rice

Add rice, sugar, and water. season with salt and pepper. Mix well.

Boil

Boil rice until cooked.
