Crushed all the ingredients in a mortar and pestle. Season with salt

In a bowl, combine the beef and palapa. Marinate for at least 30 minutes to an hour. Set aside.

In a pot with cooking oil over medium high heat, sear the beef brisket. When all the sides are brown set aside. Do them by batches.

In the same pot saute the red onion, garlic, and lemongrass for two minutes.

Add the seared beef then cook for two minutes.

Pour in the coconut milk, coconut cream and beef cube. then boil for three minutes. Simmer for an 1 hour-2 hours or until tender

Once the beef is tender add the dessicated coconut.

Add water if needed. Season with salt and pepper then shred the meat. Set aside

Deep fry until golden brown and crispy.

Top with the shredded beef rendang, cucumber, tomatoes, and wansoy.

Drizzle with sour cream then serve!
