Banana Chips
 6 pcs raw saba bananas
 oilfor frying
 1 cup sugar
 ½ tsp salt
 3 tbsp water

 3 pcs kamotepeeled
 2 cups cold water
  cup salt

Gabi Chips
 2 pcs large gabi
 2 cups cold water
  cup salt
 oilfor frying

 1 can Spam
 oilfor frying
Banana Chips

Peel and slice bananas into long strips using a knife.

Deep fry banana slices until the bubbles die down. Place in a rack to drain excess oil

In a separate pan, combine sugar, salt and water over medium heat until a thin syrup forms. Toss in the fried banana slices until everything is well coated.

Transfer bananas on a rack to dry.

Serve with a sprinkle of toasted sesame seeds.

Kamote Chips

Thinly slice kamote using a mandolin or knife.

In a bowl, mix together salt and water until fully dissolved.

Soak kamote slices in salt solution for at least 1 hour. Rinse slices well in running water, about three times. Drain and pat dry.

Deep fry, stirring constantly until the chips turn golden and slightly dark around the edges.

Drain excess oil. Serve with salt to taste.

Gabi Chips
