Spread the love

The OG haunt of ARMYs in the metro, Purple 7 Cafe is a must-visit for any fan of global superstar BTS. It used to be located along Congressional Avenue, Quezon City, but last March, the cafe temporarily halted operations to move to a new location. Now, a couple of months later, Purple 7 Cafe is finally opening its doors once again in a new and improved four-floor space along Tomas Morato, Quezon City. Here’s what you can expect from the four-storey paradise:

First floor: Shopping

The first floor is an instant budol area, with BTS merchandise and goodies displayed everywhere. Purple 7 Cafe partnered with Korean merchandise shop Hopebox PH to entice ARMYs to start their own BTS collection!

Second floor: Mezzanine

The mezzanine features a ~borahaefied~ wall painted with a mural of a city skyline that is reminiscent of a scene from BTS’ “Boy With Luv” music video.

Third floor: Dining

The third floor is where you’ll find the cafe proper, where you can order your food and drinks from the counter and start finding a table. It also features one of the customers’ most favorite photo spots: the Love Yourself neon light, now upgraded with a complete set of the Love Yourself era photocards of each BTS member.

Fourth floor: Lounge

On the fourth floor, you’ll be welcomed into the lounge through a mini archway lit up in neon purple, before it opens to a larger seating area. But instead of the usual chair and table, the space is divided into booths where a small coffee table and purple cushions are placed on the floor. It gives an instant cozy, feel-at-home vibe!

The menu

While Purple 7 Cafe hasn’t released their new menu yet, they have given a few teasers of what we can expect. They’re upgrading their cake jars and tubs into whole cakes and slices, as well as adding new flavors to their cake options. They are also adding more pasta choices in the menu. For drinks, they will be bringing back the favorites in their iconic bottles.

At their first location, prices range from PHP 130 to 160 for drinks, PHP 190 to 220 for desserts, and PHP 210 up for pasta dishes. Prices at their new location may be around that range as well.

Opening hours

Purple 7 Cafe is open from Tuesdays to Sundays from 11 AM to 8 PM. They accept dine-in, takeout, and delivery, with last call for orders at 7 PM. The cafe is closed every Monday, unless a BTS members’ birthday or the BTS anniversary date falls on such a date. (BTS’ upcoming anniversary on June 13, 2022 is a Monday, so Purple 7 Cafe will be open then!)

Only fully vaccinated adults are allowed to dine in. Minors are allowed, whether vaccinated or not, but they must be accompanied by a fully vaccinated adult. Guests dining in are given two hours to enjoy looking around and dining.

Reservations

If you want to make sure you can enjoy a visit to the cafe, you should make a reservation instead of going as a walk-in customer. They accept walk-in guests, including during weekends, but those who have reservations will be prioritized, especially during Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays. You can make a reservation through their form.

Location

The new Purple 7 Cafe is now located at One Cedar Wood Place, Tomas Morato Avenue, Quezon City. According to the cafe, four to six parking slots are available for customers.
