Makes 6 to 8 servings
Preparation and cooking time: 40 minutes


1 tablespoon vegetable oil
½ kg pork belly, cut into pieces
1 piece white onion, chopped into four
6 pieces medium ripe tomatoes, chopped into four
1 piece siling pang sigang
1 tablespoon patis (optional)
5 cups water
½ cup sliced labanos
½ cup sliced okra
½ cup sliced sitaw
1 pack (22g) MAGGI MAGIC SINIGANG® Original Sampalok Mix
1 cup picked leaves and tender stems of kangkong


1. Sauté pork in oil until golden brown. Add onion, tomato, siling pang sigang and patis and continue to cook until tomatoes are very soft.
2. Pour water and simmer until pork is tender. Mash tomatoes to thicken the soup.
3. Add labanos, okra, and sitaw with 2-minute intervals. Pour MAGGI MAGIC SINIGANG® Original Sampalok Mix.
4. Stir in kangkong. Transfer into a serving bowl and serve immediately.
