Pinoy Rice Crispies Treats

DIFFICULTY: Easy
Makes: 8 servings per variant
Preparation and cooking time: 50 minutes


Ingredients:

Chocnut:
Cooking oil spray
3 tablespoons butter
3½ cups mini marshmallows
2 cups chocnut, crumbled
5 cups rice crispies

Choki – Choki:
Cooking oil spray
3 tablespoons butter
3½ cups mini marshmallows
2 cups choki-choki
5 cups rice krispies

Flat Tops:
Cooking oil spray
3 tablespoons butter
3½ cups mini marshmallows
2 cups Flat Tops, crumbled
5 cups rice krispies

Procedure:

Chocnut:
1. Spray and coat glass containers with cooking spray.
2. Melt butter in a non-stick pan over medium heat.
3. Add marshmallows and stir until melted.
4. Add rice krispies and mix. Add chocnut and continue mixing until evenly distributed.
5. Pour in greased glass container and flatten with a spatula. Chill in the refrigerator for 30 minutes until set.
6. Remove and slice into pieces.

Choki-Choki:
1. Spray and coat glass containers with cooking spray.
2. Melt butter in a non-stick pan over medium heat.
3. Add marshmallows and stir until melted. Add choki-choki and mix well.
4. Add rice krispies and stir until everything is coated.
5. Pour in greased glass container and flatten with a spatula. Chill in the refrigerator for 30 minutes until set.
6. Remove and slice into pieces.

Flat Tops:
1. Spray and coat glass containers with cooking spray.
2. Melt butter in a non-stick pan over medium heat.
3. Add marshmallows and stir until melted. Add flat tops and mix until well distributed.
4. Add rice krispies and mix until everything is coated.
5. Pour in greased glass container and flatten with a spatula. Chill in the refrigerator for 30 minutes until set.
6. Remove and slice into pieces.
