Magical Kiddie Christmas Potluck Ideas

DIFFICULTY: Easy

Makes 10 servings of each snack
Preparation and cooking time: 1 hour (20 minutes per snack)


Ingredients:

Parol Bites:
10 pieces ham
1 1/2 tablespoons butter
1 1/2 tablespoons flour
1 can evaporated milk (400 ml)
1 sachet 8G MAGGI MAGIC SARAP®
1 cup quick melt cheese, grated
1 pack crackers

Reindeer Sandwich:
6 pieces medium eggs
6 tablespoons mayonnaise
2 tablespoons pickle relish
1/2 tablespoon spring onion, chopped
1/8 teaspoon ground white pepper
1 sachet 8G MAGGI MAGIC SARAP®
1 pack bread loaf
Raisins, as needed
Cherry tomatoes, halved, as needed
Pretzels, as needed

Christmas Tree Pizza Bread:
1 1/2 cups ground beef
1 sachet 8G MAGGI MAGIC SARAP®
1 1/2 cups tomato sauce
1 pack bread loaf
1 1/2 cups grated quick melt cheese
1 head lettuce, shredded
bread sticks, as needed

Procedure:

Parol Bites:
1.Panfry slices of ham. Let it cool. Shape ham slices into a star. Set aside.
2. In a small sauce pot, mix the butter and flour. Heat and whisk the butter and flour together until they become bubbly and foamy.
3.Whisk the evaporated milk into the flour and butter mixture. Season with MAGGI MAGIC SARAP® for added flavor. Once mixture thickens, turn off the heat.
4. Stir in the grated quickmelt cheese one handful at a time.
5. Assemble biscuits on a tray. Spread cheese sauce and top with star-shaped ham for a festive look.

Reindeer Sandwich:
1. Place eggs in a pot and cover in 1 inch of water. Cover and bring to simmer. Cook for 9 minutes. Drain and place under running cold water until cooled. Peel and coarsely chop.
2. Place egg in a bowl and stir in mayonnaise, pickle relish and spring onion. Season with white pepper and MAGGI MAGIC SARAP® and mix. Place in the refrigerator for 1 hour.
3. Cut bread loaf into heart shaped pieces.
4. Spread egg mixture to heart-shaped bread and top with another slice.
5. Design with raisins, cherry tomatoes, and pretzels for a Holiday look.

Christmas Tree Pizza Bread:
1. Sauté ground beef with MAGGI MAGIC SARAP® and remove from pan. Cook tomato sauce in the same pan with beef drippings.
2. Cut bread into triangles. Toast.
3. Spread a thin layer of tomato sauce on top of bread slices. Sprinkle with grated cheese and shredded lettuce on top.
4. Design tomato sauce as Christmas garlands and use sautéed ground beef as Christmas Ornaments. Attach a breadstick as base of the Christmas tree.
