Korean Bulgogi

DIFFICULTY: Easy

Makes 4 servings
Preparation and cooking time: 1 hour and 15 minutes


Ingredients:

1 piece Korean pear, diced
2 pieces kiwi diced
1 piece white onion, diced
8 cloves garlic
1 teaspoon ginger, peeled
1 kilo beef slices
1 tablespoon sesame oil
1 cup soy sauce
2 tablespoons honey
1/4 cup carrots, sliced
1/4 cup spring onion, sliced
1 teaspoon pepper
Sliced leeks, for topping
Chopped chili, for topping
Sesame seeds, for topping

Procedure:

  1. Place pear, kiwi, white onion, garlic, and ginger in a blender and puree until smooth.
  2. Place beef slices on a container and pour sesame oil, soy sauce, and honey. Mix in the prepared fruit sauce. Season with salt and pepper.
  3. Add carrots and spring onions the mix everything together. Marinate for at least 1 hour or overnight.
  4. Grill beef and cut into bite-sized pieces. Garnish with leeks, chili, and sesame seeds.
