The local coffee community is coming together once more for KapeCon 2026, happening on October 10–11, 2026 along Paseo de Roxas in Makati. Organized by Coffee Home Brewers (CHB), the country’s largest grassroots coffee community with more than 67,000 members, the two-day event is set to bring coffee lovers, home brewers, industry professionals, and curious first-timers together—all completely free.

And if last year’s turnout is any indication, expect this year’s KapeCon to be even bigger. The inaugural event welcomed around 15,000 attendees over two days, and organizers are gearing up for an even bigger crowd this 2026.
But KapeCon isn’t just for the serious coffee drinkers.
“The best thing about KapeCon 2026 is that it provides an accessible platform for coffee enthusiasts of all persuasions, from amateur coffee lovers to professional coffee entrepreneurs, to connect, share knowledge, or simply hang out and enjoy each other’s company,” says CHB founder Rosario Juan.
Because really, coffee is for everyone—from the person who knows their beans by origin to the one whose brewing method is simply “whatever gets me through the morning.”
This year, KapeCon is also expanding beyond the usual specialty coffee showcase, bringing together coffee and lifestyle brands for a more inclusive weekend experience. The goal? To connect coffee professionals and producers with everyday home brewers and anyone who simply loves a good cup.
What’s Brewing at KapeCon 2026?

There’s plenty to look forward to throughout the weekend, including the return of Kape’t Kamay, one of KapeCon’s more playful coffee competitions. Here, pairs of brewers are literally coupled together as they put their brewing skills—and teamwork—to the test.
The event will also feature coffee tastings from unique origins, interactive brewing workshops, direct-trade showcases, panel discussions, and other activities designed to bring coffee enthusiasts closer to the people, places, and processes behind their daily cup.
A complete schedule of events and sponsor activities will be announced soon.
Best of all? You don’t need to be a coffee expert to join. Whether you’re a home brewer, coffee professional, casual caffeine enthusiast, or just curious about the Philippine coffee scene, KapeCon is open to you.
So save the date, bring your coffee-loving friends, and get ready to spend the weekend talking, tasting, learning, and, of course, drinking plenty of coffee.
