Iskrambol

Time needed: 45 minutes.

DIFFICULTY: EASY
Makes: 4-6 servings

Ingredients:
1 cup evaporated milk
½ cup condensed milk
4 tablespoons sugar
¾ cup skimmed milk powder
4½ cups crushed ice

Original flavor:
1 tablespoon banana extract
1 teaspoon red food coloring

Coffee flavor:
3 tablespoons instant coffee
1 tablespoon cocoa powder


Ube flavor:
1 tablespoon ube extract

Toppings:
Chocolate syrup
Milk powder
Wafer sticks
Rice crispies
Mini marshmallows
Sprinkles

Procedure:

  1. Make milk mixture

    In a bowl, mix together the evaporated milk, condensed milk, sugar, and skimmed milk powder until well combined and sugar is fully dissolved. Divide into three bowls.

  2. Make original iskrambol

    Add the banana extract and red food coloring to 1 portion of the milk mixture and stir until well combined. Mix 1½cups of crushed ice until fully incorporated.

  3. Make coffee iskrambol.

    Add the instant coffee and cocoa powder to 1 portion of the milk mixture and stir until well combined. Mix 1½cups of crushed ice until fully incorporated.

  4. Make ube iskrambol

    Add the ube extract to 1 portion of the milk mixture and stir until well combined. Mix 1½cups of crushed ice until fully incorporated.

  5. Layering

    Layer a scoop of the original iskrambol mixture into a cup followed by milk powder and chocolate syrup and another layer of the same flavored iskrambol. Repeat for the other flavors.

  6. Toppings

    Top each iskrambol with more milk powder, chocolate syrup, rice crispies, mini marshmallows, sprinkles, and wafer sticks.
