Tagaytay is home to a number of wedding venues: from scenic spaces overlooking the Taal Lake to gardens perfect for enjoying its cool weather. One favorite among couples is Hillbarn, which is the city’s first and only barn-themed venue. Other than doing ocular visits for an intimate celebration or attending a friend’s special day, there’s one more reason to visit this rustic space: they recently opened a café and restaurant.
You may already know a couple of themed restaurants around Tagaytay, and Hillbarn Café and Restaurant is a new addition to this list. Perfect for yuppies who are always on the hunt for new unique food spots, Hillbarn boasts the same Dutch barn theme on its exteriors.
It wouldn’t be too difficult to fall in love with the place: the interiors alone will make you swoon. There are many spots for the gram – with its bright and clean interiors, every corner makes the perfect background.
You can order your food and beverages on the ground floor of the windmill, the main attraction in the cafe, and find a spot on the second floor. This area is ideal for a more intimate setting or simply finding a corner for work or study when you visit alone.
If you wish to enjoy Tagaytay’s cool weather, go for their alfresco seats, which are just as picturesque. You’ll get a garden view on one side as well!

Hillbarn Café and Restaurant is open daily, with the following schedule: Mondays to Fridays, 10 AM to 8 PM and Saturdays to Sundays, 8 AM to 10 PM.
