Anyone who is coffee-obsessed is always on the hunt for their next favorite spot. Whether you’re looking for your next go-to cafe or exploring more cute places to meet up with the besties, Haruman Cafe, — a new neighborhood cafe in Makati — will be worth the visit.

Have a cup of cheer at Haruman Cafe

Sometimes, happiness can be as simple as going out to have a cup of good coffee. Inspired by BTS’ song Just One Day or “haruman” in Korean, which compels you to value each day, this friendly neighborhood cafe’s exteriors alone will make you smile and feel the good vibes. Their logo screams sunshine and happiness!

If the inspiration behind the cafe doesn’t give it away yet, Haruman is a K-inspired cafe and the team nailed it. Don’t miss out on taking a photo on their huge glass window, which will remind you of cafes around Seoul.

Its interiors are cozy and bright, with various spots perfect for picture-taking. They also have BTS merch around the cafe!

This nook can be your barkada’s version of the iconic couch at Central Perk Cafe in F.R.I.E.N.D.S.

The menu

Haruman Cafe serves coffee, sandwiches, and pastries. The cafe initially only offered hot and iced espresso drinks, with classics such as Americano, White Chocolate Mocha, and Caramel Latte.

Now, they also serve sandwiches starting at P65 for a Banana Nutella Sandwich. If you want something savory, go for their HLT Sandwich or Tuna Sandwich, both priced at P110 each.

For pastries, you can get a serving of the viral croffles or croissant waffles, a dish that became popular in Korea during the pandemic. They’re available in three variants: Ham & Cheese (P80), Caramel Dalgona (P70), and Chocolate & Muscavado (P65).

They also have bento cakes available when you’re celebrating a special occasion.

See their full menu here.

Haruman Cafe is located at 403 D.V. Laurilla St., Brgy. Pitogo, Makati City.
