Makes: 4 servings
20 pieces large okra
1 block quickmelt cheese, sliced into sticks
1 pack lumpia wrappers
1 pack ham slices
Oil, for frying
Hot and sweet sauce:
¼ cup hot sauce
½ cup banana ketchup
1 tablespoon white vinegar
Slice the tops and bottoms of the okra and slice open. Scrape and remove the seeds. Repeat for all okra.
Place a lumpia wrapper in the center of the chopping board followed by a ham slice. Place okra on top and stuff a quickmelt cheese slice inside.
Roll up the ham around the stuffed okra. roll up the okra in lumpia wrapper tightly and seal the edges with water. repeat for all.
Heat up the oil in a large, wide pot over medium heat and fry the dynamites for a few minutes until golden and crispy. Drain excess oil.
In a bowl, mix everything together until well combined and serve with the okra dynamite.
