Chocolate Cookie Crust

Make crust
1

In a bowl, combine crushed chocolate cookie sandwiches, crushed graham, chopped nuts, melted butter, and salt. Mix until everything is evenly distributed and well combined.

Line container

Pack the crust tightly to the bottom and sides of a pie dish/round baking dish. Chill.

Make brownie layer

Combine the brownie crumbles and chilled NESTLÉ ALL PURPOSE CREAM. Mix well.

Add brownie layer to crust

Pack the brownie mixture on top of the cookie crust. Set aside to chill.

Make pudding layer

Sift together sugar, cocoa powder, tablea, salt, and cornstarch into a bowl and mix until well combined. Whisk in ½ cup milk and the egg yolks until well combined.

Boil until thickened

In a pan over medium-low heat, gently heat up NESTLÉ ALL PURPOSE CREAM and the remaining ½ cup of milk. Slowly pour and whisk the hot milk mixture into the yolks to temper the mixture then return the mixture to the pot. Place the pot on medium heat and whisk continuously until it comes to an aggressive simmer. Reduce heat to medium-low and continue whisking for 2 – 3 minutes. Remove from heat. Add vanilla essence and chopped chocolate and continue whisking until chocolate melts and the mixture is smooth and thickened. Let cool.

Make the whipped cream topping

In a cold bowl, whip NESTLÉ ALL PURPOSE CREAM and vanilla extract until soft peaks. Sprinkle a thin layer of sugar – 1 tablespoon at a time into the cream until stiff peaks.

Layer the pudding into the pie

Pour the Chocolate pudding on top of the brownie. Chill for at least 2 hours until everything is firm and set.

Top with cream

Spread the whipped cream on top. Top the pie with a light dusting of cocoa powder, chocolate shavings, and crushed nuts. Chill until ready to serve.
