Before the food park breakout all over the metro, there were only but a few culinary havens that paired varied food concepts with a cool, relaxed vibe. One of the OG of food parks is undoubtedly Maginhawa’s StrEAT.

While this was almost unreachable to southerners with the distance and traffic (more so the latter) before, South StrEAT is a testament that delicious dreams do come true. This Gourmand Container Park is StrEAT’s third branch, and it’s perfectly located just minutes away from Solenad and on the way up to Tagaytay.

Here are 8 of the park’s scrumptious offerings!

Tatang’s

You don’t need a special occasion (or a Cebu trip) to indulge in lechon. Just stop by Tatang’s and enjoy their famous boneless Cebu lechon. Aside from its crispy skin, tender and juicy meat, it comes with tasty stuffing, too.

 

Foxtrot & Echo

Here, burgers take the spotlight and they come in crazy, bold forms. From a shitload of bacon to gilled pineapple, their burger toppings are definitely swoon-worthy.

 

Rockin’ Ribs

Just imagine tender, hickory-smoked ribs slow-cooked for 10 hours and flavored with a multitude of secret spices. It can’t get any better than that.

 

 Chi-Maek

Up for some authentic Korean chicken and beer? That and more await at Chi-Maek. Think bibimbap and ramen. Total noms!

 Hafa Loha by the Q

Hafa Loha serves up Micronesian grub in generous, mouthwatering plates. You’ll feel transported to Hawaii and Guam as you devour their barbecued ribs and chicken, plus other unique, must-try delicacies. Just one delicious example is the Chicken Kelaguen.

 

Greek Street

Aside from classic Greek fare like gyros, Greek Street also offers unexpected fusion dishes. You wouldn’t normally find bacon and eggs with rice in a Greek joint, right? Well, here, it appears as artisan smoked bacon served with egg, biryani rice and caramelized onions.

 

Mac N’ Cheese Company

For all you diehard cheese-lovers, this stall lets you create the mac n’ cheese of your dreams. Choose from a medley of cheeses, meat and veggies. Your gooey creation will then be served in a raclette machine.

 

Crazytella

Is there even a living thing that hates Nutella? This dessert shack offers sweet concoctions that put the nutty, chocolaty spread to outrageous use. From shakes to waffles, look forward to a crazy good ending to your meal.
