Century Tuna Grilled Cheese Sandwich:
2 pieces Century Tuna Flakes in Oil 180g, drained
12 slices sourdough or any sliced bread
6 tablespoons mayonnaise
Melted butter, as needed for brushing
Century Tuna Pancit Canton:
2 pieces Lucky Me Instant Pancit Canton Kalamansi Flavor 80g pack
1 piece Century Tuna with Calamansi 180g
½ cup carrots, cut into thin strips
1 cup cabbage, shredded
- Drain the tuna for the sandwich
Into a bowl with a sieve on top, drain the oil from the Century Tuna Flakes in Oil and place drained tuna into a bowl.
- Assemble sandwich
Portion Century Tuna Flakes into six then top on slices of bread. Add two slices of melting cheese as well as the grated cheese on top. Spread a layer of mayonnaise onto one side of the top bread and place mayo-side down onto the sandwich, pressing lightly.
- Butter bread
Brush butter onto both the outer sides of the bread, about 2 teaspoons per sandwich.
Toast in a sandwich press or in a hot pan until brown and crisp on both sides and cheese has melted.
- Drain tuna for pancit
Into a bowl with a sieve on top, drain the oil from the Century Tuna with Calamansi and place drained tuna into a bowl. Set aside both the tuna and calamansi broth.
- Cook noodles
Cook pancit canton noodles according to packaging instructions. Do not add the seasoning yet. Drain noodles and set aside.
- Boil toppings
In a medium-sized skillet. Add Century Tuna with Calamansi broth, carrots, and cabbage. Bring to a quick boil.
- Add noodles, tuna, and seasonings
Toss in cooked noodles, Century Tuna Flakes, and seasonings into the pot. Mix everything together until well combined and heated through. Transfer cooked tuna pancit canton into a serving platter. Serve hot.
