Easy Adobo Lumpia

DIFFICULTY: Easy
Makes 6 to 10 servings
Preparation and cooking time: 40 minutes


Ingredients:

Filling:
3 tablespoons oil
½ kilo pork belly, cubed
½ cup white onions, minced
2 tablespoons garlic, minced
2 pieces laurel leaf
¼ cup vinegar
¼ cup soy sauce
¼ cup water
2 tablespoons brown sugar
1 teaspoon ground black pepper
¾ cup UFC BANANA CATSUP

Assembly:
Lumpia wrappers
Oil, for frying

Procedure:

1. Put all ingredients except sugar in a sauté pan and mix until the meat is evenly marinated.
2. Turn on fire to medium and cook until sauce thickens into a glaze and slightly caramelizes. Stir occasionally until pork is tender.
3. Remove pork and shred. Return to sauce, add sugar, and continue simmering until reduced. Set aside to cool.
4. Take a portion of filling and wrap in lumpia wrapper. Roll and seal with water.
5. Deep fry until golden and serve with UFC BANANA CATSUP for dipping.
