Makes 20 servings
Preparation and cooking time: 1 hour


2 cup raw peanuts
1 cup muscovado sugar
3/4 cup milk powder
¼ cup cocoa powder
¼ teaspoon vanilla extract


1. Toast the peanuts over low flame for a few minutes until fragrant and cooked through.
2. In a mortar & pestle, ground the toasted peanuts until a fine crumb, almost to a powder-like consistency.
3. Add sugar, milk powder, cocoa powder, and vanilla. Continue to grind until well combined into a wet powder consistency.
4. Press into a mold, packing tightly. Chill for a few minutes. Serve.
