DIFFICULTY: Easy
Makes 12 servings
Preparation and cooking time: 4 hours including rest period


Ingredients:

Dough:
1 cup fresh milk, warm
1 1/4 tablespoons instant yeast
2 tablespoons sugar
1 teaspoon salt
2 1/2 cups flour (for dough and dusting)
2 eggs
1/4 cup butter

Chicken Spread Filling:
1/2 cup Shredded chicken
Red onions, minced
Celery, minced
1/3 cup mayonnaise
Salt, to taste
Ground black pepper, to taste

Cheeseburger Filling:
1/4 kilo ground beef
1/8cup red onions, minced
1 tablespoon garlic, minced
Mozzarella cheese, sliced into sticks
Salt, to taste
Ground black pepper, to taste

Corned Beef Filling:
1 can corned beef
1/8 cup red onion, sliced
1 tablespoons garlic minced
1/4 cup potatoes, cut into small dice
Salt, to taste
Ground black pepper, to taste

Pizza Filling:
1/2 cup mini pepperoni
1/2 cup tomato sauce
Mozzarella cheese, grated
Cheddar cheese, grated

Assembly:
2 tablespoons butter, softened
2 egg yolks

Procedure:

Dough:
1. In a bowl, dissolve yeast and sugar in warm milk and set aside in a warm place to allow to activate. Add 2 cups flour until well combined. Add eggs, butter, and salt.
2. Knead at low speed for 4 minutes. Knead at medium speed for 5 minutes until dough comes off from the bottom and sides of the bowl.
3. Place on a floured surface, cover with plastic and allow to rest for 1 hour.
4. Make a long rope and rest for 30 minutes.
5. Cut the dough into portioned rolls. Roll out dough until about 4 inches long and 2 inches wide.

Chicken Spread filling:
1. In a bowl, combine all ingredients and mix well.
2. Season to taste and chill.
3. Spread chicken filling in the center of the rolled out dough. Carefully wrap dough over filling, pinching and sealing seams of roll. Rest for another 20 minutes.

Cheeseburger Filling:
1. In a bowl, combine ground beef, onions, and garlic. Season with salt and pepper and set aside.
2. Spread beef mixture in the center of the rolled out dough, place a stick of mozzarella cheese in the middle and form the meat over the cheese so that the meat envelops the cheese completely. Pinch and seal seams of roll. Rest for another 20 minutes.

Corned Beef Filling:
1. In a pan over medium heat, saute onions, garlic, and potatoes in oil for a few minutes, until potatoes are crispy and everything is fragrant.
2. Mix in corned beef and season as necessary. Cool.
3. Spread corned beef filling in the center of the rolled out dough. Carefully wrap dough over filling, pinching and sealing seams of roll. Rest for another 20 minutes.

Pizza Filling:
1. Spread tomato sauce in the center of the rolled out dough.
2. Layer pepperoni and sprinkle grated cheese.
3. Carefully wrap dough over filling, pinching and sealing seams of roll. Rest for another 20 minutes.

Assembly:
1. Combine butter and egg yolks to make egg wash. Brush over breadsticks.
2. Bake at 190˚C for 15-20 minutes.
