Pinoy Shakshuka
Preparation and cooking time: 25 minutes
DIFFICULTY: Easy
Makes: 2 servings

Ingredients:
1 teaspoon butter
1 piece chorizo, chopped into cubes
1 tablespoon garlic, minced
1 piece white onion, sliced
1 piece green bell pepper, sliced thinly
1 piece HUNT’S Pork and Beans can, 175g
2 pieces Egg
Salt, to taste
Ground black pepper, to taste
4 pieces toast, for serving

Hotdog n’ Beans
Preparation and cooking time: 15 minutes
DIFFICULTY: Easy
Makes: 2 servings

Ingredients:
2 tablespoons vegetable oil
1 tablespoon garlic, minced
1 piece white onion, minced
2 pieces hotdog, sliced
1 piece HUNT’S Pork and Beans can, 175g
½ tablespoon liquid seasoning
Salt, to taste
Ground black pepper, to taste

Cheesy Corned Beef and Beans
Preparation and cooking time: 20 minutes
DIFFICULTY: Easy
Makes: 2 servings

Ingredients:
1 tablespoon garlic, minced
1 piece red onion, sliced
1 piece HUNT’S Pork and Beans can, 175g
1 can corned beef
2 tablespoons vegetable oil
Salt, to taste
Ground black pepper to taste
½ cup quick melt cheese, grated

Procedure:

  1. Make shakshuka

    In a pan over medium heat, sauté the chorizo in butter until it releases its fats and oils.

  2. Saute aromatics

    Add garlic, onion, and bell peppers and continue sautéing until fragrant and translucent.

  3. Make sauce

    Add HUNT’S Pork and Beans and continue cooking for about 3 – 5 minutes. Season to taste with salt and pepper. Using a spoon, create small wells throughout the sauce for the eggs to sit in.

  4. Add eggs

    Crack the eggs into the small wells and cover the pan with a lid. Lower heat to low and let steam for about 10 – 15 minutes until the egg is set to your preferred doneness.

  5. Serve

    Serve on toast.

  6. Make Hotdogs n’ Beans

    In a pan over medium heat, sauté garlic and onions, and continue sautéing until fragrant and the onions turn golden and caramelized.
    Add hot dogs and continue cooking for a few minutes. Season to taste with salt and pepper.

  7. Add beans

    Add HUNT’S Pork and Beans and mix. Cook for a few minutes.

  8. Season and simmer

    Add liquid seasoning and mix until well combined. Simmer then serve.

  9. Make cheesy corned beef and beans

    In a pan over medium heat, sauté garlic and onions until fragrant and translucent. Season with salt and pepper.

  10. Add corned beef and beans

    Add corned beef and HUNT’S Pork and Beans. Sauté for a few minutes.

  11. Add cheese

    Top with an even layer of grated cheese, cover the pan with a lid, and continue cooking on low heat for a few minutes until all the cheese is melted.
