If Despacito is still ringing in your ears, complete with the Spanish rap and all, it’s probably a good time to pay some homage to its cultural roots by tickling your taste buds with some authentic South American food. Co-owned by the Matsunaga siblings Daniel and Vanessa who are part Japanese and Brazilian, the new restaurant boasts of bringing the true tastes of Latino home-cooked meals through their Elote (Mexican corn cobs smothered with delicious spices), Rabo Encendido (Cuban pork hock), Carne Desmechada (Venezuelan shredded beef stew), among other delicacies from Argentina, Brazil, Peru, and Puerto Rico.
